On the May 19, 2008 edition of Entertainment Tonight (ET), during their Plastic Surgery Week, there was a profile of ‘Wide-Awake Liposuction’, better known as VASER LipoSelection.
This is one of the exact procedures that Isis Cosmetic Medical Centers has been providing it’s patients for close to 2 years. What took ET and Hollywood so long to catch on?

The segment shows a patient wide-awake, comfortable and pain free during the procedure. Heck, she is so comfortable that she actually calls some friends during the procedure. The video goes on to show the patient even standing up while the doctor works so that he can get a better feel and ensure the best results.

I would imagine that this is an out patient procedure since there is no anesthesia involved? If so, the cost factor(s) should be greatly diminished without losing desired results. I work out 7 days a week, yet I never lose the “pot” my wife lovingly refers to as my “buddha belly.” I do crunchs in sets of 100 (5 sets) every morning along with my workouts. An article I read indicated I may have fat accumulation behind the muscle which pushes the muscle out to create the pot. I need more info on this subject.
I learn more from reading than I do from film shorts.
